That’s why I am going to test SiteGround’s performance in all the ways that matter: loading speed, uptime, and overall reliability.

To test SiteGround’s performance, I created a website using their Managed WordPress Hosting plan and then ran tests on the site over a 12 month period.

In my personal opinion, SiteGround’s speed performance is highly impressive. The consistently fast load times observed through various speed testing tools reinforce the notion that SiteGround prioritizes the optimization of their servers to provide an exceptional user experience.

SiteGround Stress Test

Stress testing involves evaluating how a website or server performs under high traffic conditions to assess its scalability and server response time. To conduct the stress test for SiteGround, I utilized the k6 tool, a popular load testing framework.

During the stress test, I simulated heavy traffic conditions by creating a total of 50 virtual users (VUs). These VUs were programmed to make a combined total of approximately 11,000 requests to the SiteGround server within a test duration of 3 minutes.

The stress test results for SiteGround were impressive. Although the server was coping with heavy loads, its response time remained low—an average 107 milliseconds. To access Site Tools, go to Websites and choose the desired website. Then click on Site Tools. Once inside Site Tools, you’ll find all the available options neatly organized on the left side of the screen.

Site Tools gives you access to a variety of useful features. You can effortlessly install and remove applications, manage subdomains and parked domains, create new email accounts, etc. Furthermore, Site Tools allows you to create and manage FTP accounts for convenient file transfer. 

In addition, you can utilize Site Tools to perform backups and easily restore your site’s data whenever necessary.
